- 500 grams ground turkey
- 3 medium zucchini, thinly sliced lengthwise
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook garlic until fragrant, then add ground turkey and cook until browned.
- Stir in tomato sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper, then let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Spread a thin layer of sauce at the bottom of the baking dish.
- Layer zucchini slices, turkey sauce, ricotta, and mozzarella. Repeat layers until ingredients are used.
- Finish with mozzarella and parmesan on top.
- Bake for 35 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing, then serve and enjoy.
