Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, matcha powder, baking soda, and salt until evenly combined.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until smooth.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, then gently fold in the chopped strawberries.
- Scoop portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges are set but the centers remain soft.
- Allow the cookies to cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring.
- Serve and enjoy warm or at room temperature.
