Description

Spicy Garlic Butter Beef Pasta is a rich and comforting pasta dish made with tender seared beef strips tossed in a silky garlic butter sauce with a hint of chili heat. It is bold, savory, and perfect for a quick yet indulgent meal that feels restaurant quality at home.

Ingredients

  • Spaghetti – 300g
  • Beef strips (sirloin or flank steak) – 400g
  • Butter – 3 tbsp (about 45g)
  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp
  • Garlic – 5 cloves, minced
  • Chili flakes – 1 tsp
  • Paprika – 1 tsp
  • Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp (or to taste)
  • Parmesan cheese – 50g, grated
  • Fresh parsley – 2 tbsp, chopped

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook spaghetti until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Season beef strips with salt, black pepper, and paprika, mixing well.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat and sear beef until browned, then remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat, add butter to the same pan and let it melt slowly.
  5. Add garlic and chili flakes, sauté until fragrant without burning.
  6. Return beef to the pan and mix with the garlic butter sauce.
  7. Add cooked spaghetti and a splash of pasta water, toss everything until well coated.
  8. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  9. Finish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not overcook the garlic to avoid bitterness.
  • Use pasta water to help create a silky sauce texture.
  • Slice beef thinly for quick and even cooking.
  • Adjust chili flakes based on your spice preference.
