Description

A creamy, savory pasta inspired by classic cheesesteak flavors, loaded with tender beef, sautéed peppers and onions, all wrapped in a rich cheese sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 300 grams penne pasta
  • 300 grams thinly sliced beef
  • 1 medium green bell pepper
  • 1 medium onion
  • 150 grams cream cheese
  • 150 grams shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the thinly sliced beef and cook until browned, then remove from the pan.
  5. In the same skillet, sauté sliced onion, green bell pepper, and minced garlic until soft.
  6. Pour in beef broth and milk, then stir in cream cheese and shredded provolone until melted and smooth.
  7. Return the beef to the skillet and mix well with the sauce.
  8. Add the cooked pasta and toss until fully coated in the creamy sauce.
  9. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • Slice the beef as thin as possible for the most tender texture.
  • Add cheese gradually to keep the sauce smooth.
  • Use freshly grated cheese for better melting results.
  • Add a splash of milk when reheating to restore creaminess.
