Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets about 150 grams each
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped


Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet and let it melt.
  4. Place the salmon fillets skin side down in the pan and cook undisturbed.
  5. After 4 to 5 minutes, flip the salmon, add the remaining butter and the lemon garlic mixture, then cook another 3 to 4 minutes while spooning the sauce over the top.
  6. Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley over the salmon and let it rest for a minute.
  7. Serve with your favorite sides and drizzle extra sauce on top.
