- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix until creamy.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Lightly grease the prepared baking pan.
- Spread half of the batter evenly into the pan.
- In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon.
- Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter.
- Add the remaining batter on top and spread gently.
- Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture and swirl lightly using a knife or skewer.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the edges are set and the center is slightly soft.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing into squares and serving.
Notes
- Do not overmix the batter to keep the blondies soft and chewy.
