Description

Soft, chewy blondies layered with a rich cinnamon sugar swirl, combining the cozy flavors of snickerdoodles with the dense, buttery texture of classic blondies.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix until creamy.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Lightly grease the prepared baking pan.
  6. Spread half of the batter evenly into the pan.
  7. In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  8. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter.
  9. Add the remaining batter on top and spread gently.
  10. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture and swirl lightly using a knife or skewer.
  11. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the edges are set and the center is slightly soft.
  12. Allow to cool completely before slicing into squares and serving.
