- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a heart shaped cake pan.
- Whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
- Add eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Slowly stir in hot coffee until fully combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Allow cake to cool completely before slicing into layers.
- Heat heavy cream until warm and pour over chocolate chips. Let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth to create ganache.
- Beat butter, powdered sugar, and strawberry jam together until creamy.
- Spread strawberry filling between cake layers.
- Coat the cake with chocolate ganache.
- Decorate with fresh strawberries dipped in melted white chocolate.
- Chill slightly before slicing and serving.
