Instructions

- Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients, then stir in hot coffee until smooth.
- Fill cupcake liners two-thirds full with batter.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool cupcakes completely on a wire rack.
- Beat butter until creamy, then gradually mix in powdered sugar and caramel sauce until fluffy.
- Pipe frosting onto cooled cupcakes.
- Drizzle with extra caramel sauce and top with chocolate shavings before serving.
