Description

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1 small carrot, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium heat for 1 minute.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Stir in green onions, diced onion, and shredded carrot.
  4. Add vegetable oil to the skillet and spread evenly.
  5. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and distribute vegetables evenly.
  6. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes until the bottom is golden and the center begins to set.
  7. Carefully flip the omelette and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat and let rest for 1 minute before slicing.
  9. Serve warm with rice or extra soy sauce if desired.
