Description

Juicy chicken meatballs paired with crisp green beans, all coated in a savory sesame garlic sauce that brings balance, warmth, and fresh flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 500 g ground chicken
  • 300 g green beans, trimmed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a bowl, mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, half of the garlic, half of the ginger, and 1 tablespoon soy sauce until just combined.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Add a small amount of oil to the skillet and let it heat.
  4. Assemble the Dish: Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about tablespoon size.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Cook meatballs in the skillet, turning occasionally, until golden and fully cooked, about 10 to 12 minutes. Remove and set aside. In the same pan, sauté remaining garlic and ginger, add green beans and cook until tender crisp. Return meatballs to the pan, add remaining soy sauce and sesame oil, and toss well.
  6. Finishing Touches: Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Serve warm and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Do not overmix the meatball mixture to keep them tender.
  • Cook green beans until just tender crisp for best texture.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning before serving if needed.
