  • 4 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 8 slices deli turkey, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • 2 cans (10.5 ounces each) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Spread half of the shredded chicken in the prepared baking dish. Layer with half of the chopped turkey and half of the Swiss cheese.
  4. Pour half of the creamy sauce over the layers. Repeat with remaining chicken, turkey, cheese, and sauce.
  5. In a small bowl, combine breadcrumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle evenly over the casserole.
  6. Bake uncovered for 35 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  7. Broil for 2 to 3 minutes if desired for extra golden color.
  8. Sprinkle chopped parsley on top, let rest for 10 minutes, then serve warm.
