Description

Flaky puff pastry bites filled with creamy camembert, tender potatoes, and finished with a delicate drizzle of honey, perfect for appetizers or cozy gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 200 grams camembert cheese, cut into small pieces
  • 2 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, toss the thinly sliced potatoes with salt, black pepper, and thyme until evenly coated.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into equal squares.
  4. Place a few slices of potato and a piece of camembert cheese in the center of each square.
  5. Lightly fold the edges or leave them open depending on preference.
  6. Brush each pastry with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  7. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and drizzle honey over the warm bites.
  9. Allow to cool slightly, then serve and enjoy.
