Description

Golden brioche slices soaked in a rich vanilla custard, pan-fried until crisp on the outside and soft inside, perfect for a comforting breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 6 thick slices brioche bread
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pinch salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  3. Add butter to the pan and let it melt evenly.
  4. Dip each slice of brioche into the custard mixture, coating both sides lightly.
  5. Place the soaked slices in the pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Remove from the pan and add powdered sugar or syrup if desired.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy.
