Description

Smoky BBQ brisket nachos loaded with crispy tortilla chips, melted cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese, fresh toppings, and sweet smoky barbecue sauce. Perfect for game nights, parties, or casual comfort food dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces thick-cut tortilla chips
  • 3 cups shredded smoked beef brisket
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 3/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 fresh jalapeño, sliced thinly
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, diced
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, toss shredded brisket with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and 1/4 cup barbecue sauce.
  3. Spread half the tortilla chips evenly on the baking sheet.
  4. Top with half the brisket mixture, half the cheddar cheese, and half the Monterey Jack cheese.
  5. Repeat with remaining chips, brisket, and cheeses.
  6. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbling.
  7. Remove from oven and top with diced tomatoes, sliced jalapeños, chopped green onions, sour cream, and remaining barbecue sauce.
  8. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Notes

  • Use freshly shredded cheese for smoother melting.
  • Warm the brisket before assembling to keep the nachos hot longer.
  • Add fresh toppings only after baking for better texture.
  • Serve immediately to keep chips crispy.
