Description

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets, about 6 ounces each
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, and lime zest until fully mixed.
  3. Place salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Rub the chili mixture evenly over each salmon fillet.
  5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the edges are slightly caramelized.
  6. Remove from the oven and drizzle fresh lime juice over the salmon.
  7. Sprinkle chopped cilantro on top and serve warm.
