- 4 salmon fillets, about 6 ounces each
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, and lime zest until fully mixed.
- Place salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Rub the chili mixture evenly over each salmon fillet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the edges are slightly caramelized.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle fresh lime juice over the salmon.
- Sprinkle chopped cilantro on top and serve warm.
