Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 450 g cream cheese, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and sliced
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C and line a square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until the texture resembles wet sand.
  3. Press the crust mixture firmly into the prepared pan and smooth it evenly.
  4. Beat cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy, then pour over the crust.
  5. Toss sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice, then spread evenly over the cheesecake layer.
  6. Bake for 35 minutes until the center is set but slightly soft.
  7. Allow to cool completely, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before slicing into bars.
