Description

A creamy and tangy Mediterranean-inspired yogurt pasta made with garlic, herbs, and a silky yogurt sauce—simple, nutritious, and delicious.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti or pasta of choice
  • 1 1/2 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried mint or oregano
  • Fresh parsley or dill for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup of the pasta water and drain the rest.
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, Parmesan (if using), salt, pepper, and dried mint or oregano.
  4. Gradually mix in the warm pasta water to loosen the yogurt sauce.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the bowl and gently toss until evenly coated in the sauce.
  6. Top with fresh herbs and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Use full-fat Greek yogurt for the creamiest result.
  • Add grilled chicken or sautéed mushrooms for extra protein.
