- 1 8-oz block cream cheese, softened (or substitute with 8 oz sour cream)
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 cup oil
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2-3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix yellow cake mix, cream cheese, eggs, and oil until smooth.
- Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared pan.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over the batter in the pan.
- Pour the remaining cake batter over the cinnamon sugar layer and spread gently to cover.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled cake.
- Slice and serve.

- Optional: swirl the brown sugar-cinnamon mixture slightly into the batter for a marbled effect.
