Description

These Viral Baked Dumplings are a simple, one-pan meal full of flavor and minimal cleanup! Dumplings are baked in a creamy, coconut-based curry sauce with garlic, ginger, and red curry paste, then finished with optional garnishes for an impressive and easy dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 2/3 cups (400 ml) coconut cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar (ACV)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons red curry paste
  • Handful of spinach
  • 24 dumplings or potstickers
  • Optional Garnishes:
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Crispy chili oil
  • Chives
  • Sesame seeds
  • Seasoning packet from potstickers

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large oven-safe pan, mix coconut cream, powdered ginger, garlic, maple syrup, soy sauce, ACV, and red curry paste until smooth.
  3. Add dumplings to the pan, spacing them evenly, and spoon some sauce over each dumpling.
  4. Place the pan in the oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until dumplings are cooked through and slightly golden on top.
  5. During the last 5 minutes, add a handful of spinach to the pan to wilt.
  6. Remove from oven and drizzle with optional garnishes like sesame oil, crispy chili oil, chives, sesame seeds, or seasoning packet.
  7. Serve immediately as a comforting, flavorful one-pan meal.

Notes

  • Use store-bought or homemade dumplings; adjust cooking time based on package instructions if needed.
  • The sauce can be adjusted to taste by adding more maple syrup for sweetness or extra soy sauce for saltiness.
  • Add other vegetables such as bell peppers or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
  • For a spicier version, increase the red curry paste or drizzle extra chili oil.
