Ingredients
Scale
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
- Add the sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the banana mixture and mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 55 to 65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with just a few crumbs.
- Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy!
Notes
- Make sure your bananas are overripe for the best flavor and texture.
- Feel free to fold in chopped walnuts or chocolate chips before baking for added variety.
- Wrap tightly and store at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for longer freshness.
