Description

This ultimate banana bread is moist, fluffy, and packed with rich banana flavor. A cozy, comforting loaf that’s perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
  3. Add the sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the banana mixture and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 55 to 65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with just a few crumbs.
  7. Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Slice and serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Make sure your bananas are overripe for the best flavor and texture.
  • Feel free to fold in chopped walnuts or chocolate chips before baking for added variety.
  • Wrap tightly and store at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for longer freshness.
