Description

Tiramisu Cheesecake is a decadent fusion of two classic desserts: creamy, rich cheesecake and the bold, coffee-flavored layers of tiramisu. With a buttery crust, smooth mascarpone filling, and a coffee-soaked layer, this dessert is a luxurious treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the crust:
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • For the filling:
  • 3 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup espresso or strong coffee, cooled
  • 1 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
  • For the topping:
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp chocolate shavings (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
  2. For the crust, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form an even layer. Bake for 8-10 minutes, then remove and set aside to cool.
  3. For the filling, beat the cream cheese, mascarpone, and sugar in a large bowl until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and heavy cream until fully combined.
  5. Pour the batter over the cooled crust. Drizzle the cooled espresso or coffee and coffee liqueur (if using) on top of the batter, then use a knife or toothpick to swirl the coffee into the cheesecake filling.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door ajar for 1 hour.
  7. Remove from the oven and cool completely in the pan at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Before serving, dust the top of the cheesecake with cocoa powder and garnish with chocolate shavings, if desired.

Notes

  • If you prefer a stronger coffee flavor, you can soak the crust in espresso before adding the filling.
  • To make it easier to remove the cheesecake from the pan, you can wrap the bottom of the springform pan in aluminum foil before baking.
  • This cheesecake can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, but it’s best enjoyed fresh.
