Description
Tiramisu Cheesecake is a decadent fusion of two classic desserts: creamy, rich cheesecake and the bold, coffee-flavored layers of tiramisu. With a buttery crust, smooth mascarpone filling, and a coffee-soaked layer, this dessert is a luxurious treat for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- For the crust:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup sugar
- For the filling:
- 3 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup espresso or strong coffee, cooled
- 1 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
- For the topping:
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp chocolate shavings (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
- For the crust, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form an even layer. Bake for 8-10 minutes, then remove and set aside to cool.
- For the filling, beat the cream cheese, mascarpone, and sugar in a large bowl until smooth and creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and heavy cream until fully combined.
- Pour the batter over the cooled crust. Drizzle the cooled espresso or coffee and coffee liqueur (if using) on top of the batter, then use a knife or toothpick to swirl the coffee into the cheesecake filling.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door ajar for 1 hour.
- Remove from the oven and cool completely in the pan at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, dust the top of the cheesecake with cocoa powder and garnish with chocolate shavings, if desired.
Notes
- If you prefer a stronger coffee flavor, you can soak the crust in espresso before adding the filling.
- To make it easier to remove the cheesecake from the pan, you can wrap the bottom of the springform pan in aluminum foil before baking.
- This cheesecake can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, but it’s best enjoyed fresh.
