Description

Taco Pinwheels are fun, bite-sized wraps filled with seasoned taco meat, creamy cheese, salsa, and fresh toppings. Perfect for parties, lunchboxes, or appetizers, they combine the flavors of a taco in a convenient, roll-up form.


Ingredients

  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup seasoned taco meat
  • 1/4 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons chopped ripe olives
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 5 flour tortillas (8 inches), room temperature
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • Additional salsa, for serving


Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, taco meat, cheddar cheese, salsa, mayonnaise, olives, and onion until well mixed.
  2. Lay out a tortilla on a flat surface. Spread a portion of the mixture evenly over the tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.
  3. Top with a thin layer of shredded lettuce.
  4. Roll up the tortilla tightly, starting from one edge, to form a pinwheel.
  5. Slice each rolled tortilla into 1-inch pinwheels using a sharp knife.
  6. Arrange on a platter and serve with additional salsa for dipping.
