Description

A creamy and flavorful gnocchi dish where sweet chilli heat meets tangy tomato and rich cream cheese, creating a perfectly balanced and comforting meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 500 grams gnocchi
  • 3 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 150 grams cream cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • A small handful fresh basil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté garlic until fragrant, then add tomato sauce and sweet chilli sauce and stir.
  3. Let the sauce simmer on low heat.
  4. Add cream cheese and stir until fully melted and smooth.
  5. Cook gnocchi in boiling water until they float, then drain.
  6. Add gnocchi to the sauce and toss gently.
  7. Stir in parmesan, salt, and black pepper.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil and serve warm.

  • Use fresh gnocchi for best texture.
  • Adjust sweet chilli sauce to control sweetness and spice.
  • Add a splash of pasta water if the sauce is too thick.
  • Stir gently to avoid breaking the gnocchi.
