Description
These stuffed sweet rolls are pillowy soft and filled with a creamy vanilla cream cheese center. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert, they’re sweet, warm, and impossible to resist.

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup whole milk, warm
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
- Add the remaining sugar, eggs, melted butter, salt, and flour. Mix and knead until dough is soft and slightly tacky.
- Transfer dough to a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for 1 hour or until doubled.
- Roll out dough into a large rectangle. In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread filling evenly over the dough. Roll it up tightly and slice into 12 even pieces.
- Place rolls in the prepared dish. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown on top.
- Brush warm rolls with melted butter and, if desired, sprinkle with sugar or drizzle with icing.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
