- 3 cups cooked long grain rice
- 300 grams beef steak, cut into small cubes
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 medium carrot, diced
- 1 cup peas
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Beat the eggs in a bowl and set aside.
- Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the pan.
- Cook the steak pieces until browned, then remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic, carrots, and peas until slightly softened.
- Push vegetables to the side and pour in the eggs, scramble until cooked.
- Add the cooked rice and steak back into the pan.
- Pour in soy sauce, salt, and black pepper, then mix everything well.
- Drizzle sesame oil and add chopped green onions.
- Stir well and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes, then serve hot.
Notes
- Use cold, day-old rice for best texture
- Cook on high heat to achieve slightly crispy rice
- Avoid adding too much soy sauce at once
