Description

Creamy soft scrambled eggs piled over buttery crisp toast. This comforting breakfast classic is ready in under 10 minutes and perfect for any morning.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • 2 slices sandwich bread

Instructions

  1. Warm your nonstick skillet over low heat and start toasting your bread slices.
  2. Crack the eggs into a bowl, add salt and pepper, and whisk thoroughly.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet and let it melt evenly.
  4. Pour in the eggs and begin stirring slowly with a rubber spatula over low heat.
  5. Cook until the eggs are just set and slightly glossy, about 4–5 minutes.
  6. Turn off the heat, add the remaining butter, and stir until melted into the eggs.
  7. Spread butter on your toasted bread, then top with the soft scrambled eggs.

Notes

  • Use low heat to keep eggs creamy and avoid overcooking.
  • Whisk eggs well before cooking for even texture.
  • Toast the bread just before serving so it stays crispy.
