Description

This Smokey BBQ Chicken Dip is the ultimate party starter, packed with shredded chicken, melty cheddar, tangy barbecue sauce, and a hint of spice. Perfect for game days, potlucks, or cozy nights in.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Tortilla chips, for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, barbecue sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and half of the cheddar cheese until smooth.
  3. Fold in shredded chicken and half of the green onions.
  4. Lightly grease an oven-safe baking dish or skillet.
  5. Spread the dip mixture evenly in the dish. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and an optional drizzle of barbecue sauce.
  6. Bake uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  7. Remove from oven, sprinkle with remaining green onions.
  8. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or toasted bread.
