- 2 large cucumbers, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
- 8 ounces smoked salmon, thinly sliced
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons capers
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese with lemon juice, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.
- Lay the cucumber slices flat on a serving platter and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Spoon a small dollop of the cream cheese mixture onto each cucumber round.
- Top each one with a folded slice of smoked salmon.
- Add a couple of capers and a small sprig of fresh dill on top.
- Chill for 10 minutes before serving, or serve immediately if already cold.
