Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
- 6 small flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced dill pickles
- 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
- 1/2 cup burger sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Heat a cast iron skillet or griddle over medium-high heat until hot.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Divide into 6 equal portions and shape into balls.
- Lightly grease skillet. Place one beef ball onto the hot surface and press it down flat using a spatula.
- Let it cook for 1–2 minutes until the edges crisp up, then flip, add cheese on top, and place a tortilla over the patty. Press gently.
- Cook for another minute, then flip the taco so the tortilla crisps against the pan for 30–60 seconds.
- Remove from heat and add pickles, lettuce, and burger sauce on top of each taco.
- Serve hot with extra sauce or toppings if desired.
Notes
- Preheat your skillet well to ensure a crispy beef crust.
- Don’t overstuff the tacos for easier handling.
- Prep burger sauce ahead to save time.
