Description

Crispy sheet pan fries loaded with juicy smashed beef, melted cheddar, tangy pickles, and a creamy burger-style sauce, all baked together for an easy, crowd-pleasing meal.


Ingredients

  • 500 grams frozen french fries
  • 400 grams ground beef
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 whole pickles, diced
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C.
  2. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
  3. Spread the frozen fries evenly on a sheet pan without overlapping.
  4. Bake the fries for 20 minutes until they begin to crisp.
  5. Remove from the oven and add seasoned ground beef in small smashed portions over the fries.
  6. Return to the oven and cook for 10 to 12 minutes until the beef is cooked through and slightly crispy.
  7. Immediately place cheddar cheese slices over the hot beef so they melt.
  8. Top with diced pickles and chopped onions, then drizzle the prepared sauce.
  9. Serve hot directly from the pan.

  • Use high heat to get crispy edges on the beef.
  • Do not overcrowd the fries to keep them crispy.
