Ingredients
Scale
- 500 grams frozen french fries
- 400 grams ground beef
- 6 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 whole pickles, diced
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 220°C.
- In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
- Spread the frozen fries evenly on a sheet pan without overlapping.
- Bake the fries for 20 minutes until they begin to crisp.
- Remove from the oven and add seasoned ground beef in small smashed portions over the fries.
- Return to the oven and cook for 10 to 12 minutes until the beef is cooked through and slightly crispy.
- Immediately place cheddar cheese slices over the hot beef so they melt.
- Top with diced pickles and chopped onions, then drizzle the prepared sauce.
- Serve hot directly from the pan.
Notes
- Use high heat to get crispy edges on the beef.
- Do not overcrowd the fries to keep them crispy.
- Add sauce just before serving to prevent sogginess.
- Line the pan with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
