- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, panko, egg, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil until just combined.
- Form the mixture into 1.5-inch meatballs and place them evenly spaced on the prepared sheet pan.
- Optional: Add chopped vegetables like broccoli or bell peppers around the meatballs.
- Bake for 20–22 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through.
- Remove the pan and brush sweet chili sauce over each meatball.
- Return to the oven for 3–5 more minutes to caramelize the glaze.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and additional green onions before serving.
