- 300 grams mushrooms, sliced
- 2 medium shallots, thinly sliced
- 150 grams goat cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, sauté mushrooms until golden and moisture evaporates, then add shallots and garlic. Cook until soft. Stir in thyme, salt, and black pepper, then let cool slightly.
- Roll out puff pastry sheets and cut into even squares. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Spoon the mushroom mixture onto each pastry square, leaving a small border. Add pieces of goat cheese on top.
- Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg.
- Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until the pastry is golden and puffed.
- Allow the tarts to cool slightly before serving.
