A creamy and comforting baked pasta dish featuring tender penne, savory Italian sausage, and rich Alfredo sauce topped with fresh parsley


Ingredients

  • Penne pasta – 12 ounces, cooked to al dente
  • Italian sausage – 1 pound, sliced and browned
  • Butter – 4 tablespoons
  • Garlic cloves – 3, minced
  • Heavy cream – 2 cups
  • Parmesan cheese – 1 cup, freshly grated
  • Chopped parsley – 2 tablespoons
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and simmer gently, then stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  3. In a large bowl, mix cooked pasta with sliced sausage and the creamy Alfredo sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly. Sprinkle extra Parmesan on top if desired.
  5. Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes until the top is lightly golden and bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle chopped parsley over the top for freshness.
