Ingredients
Scale
- 2 packs dry ramen noodles (without seasoning)
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 3 tablespoons gochujang paste
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- Handful of fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Place your skillet or wok over medium heat to preheat while you prepare the sauce.
- In a small bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and garlic until smooth.
- In the hot skillet, cook the ground chicken, breaking it apart, for 5–7 minutes until browned.
- Meanwhile, cook the ramen noodles according to package directions. Drain and reserve 1/4 cup of the noodle water.
- Add the sauce to the chicken and toss in the cooked noodles. Stir to coat evenly, adding a splash of reserved noodle water if needed.
- Add green onions and cilantro. Toss gently and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Serve hot in bowls and enjoy immediately.
Notes
- Use firm ramen for best texture.
- Adjust gochujang based on your spice preference.
- Make the sauce ahead and store it up to 1 week in the fridge.
- Reheat leftovers with a bit of water to loosen the sauce.
