Description

A cozy and indulgent grilled cheese sandwich with tender salmon and melted cheddar cheese, perfect for any meal


Ingredients

  • Fresh Salmon Fillet, 4 ounces, thinly sliced
  • Sliced Bread, 2 slices, preferably sourdough or whole wheat
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese, 1/2 cup
  • Butter, 2 tablespoons, soft
  • Mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon Wedges, 1-2
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black Pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat
  2. Slice salmon thinly and grate cheese if needed
  3. Butter one side of each bread slice evenly
  4. Place salmon and cheese between unbuttered sides of bread slices
  5. Place sandwich in skillet and cook until golden brown on one side, then flip and cook until cheese melts
  6. Squeeze fresh lemon over salmon and season with salt and pepper
  7. Slice diagonally and serve immediately
