Description

A delicious and easy-to-make casserole combining the classic flavors of a Reuben sandwich with flaky crescent roll dough for a crowd-pleasing bake.


Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz)
  • 8 oz corned beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup sauerkraut, drained
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll crescent dough and press into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, sealing perforations.
  3. Layer corned beef evenly over the dough.
  4. Spread sauerkraut evenly over the corned beef.
  5. Layer Swiss cheese slices on top.
  6. Drizzle Thousand Island dressing evenly over the cheese layer.
  7. Roll out remaining crescent dough and cover the layered ingredients, sealing edges.
  8. Brush the top with melted butter, if desired.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  10. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Make sure to drain the sauerkraut well to prevent sogginess.
  • Use deli-sliced corned beef for convenience and flavor.
  • Serve with extra Thousand Island dressing or pickles on the side.
