- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp poppy seeds
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup crushed buttery crackers (such as Ritz)
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then place them in the prepared baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, mayonnaise, poppy seeds, and garlic powder. Stir until smooth.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken breasts, spreading it evenly.
- In a separate bowl, mix crushed crackers with melted butter. Sprinkle the cracker mixture over the top of the chicken and sauce.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the topping is golden brown.
- Let the dish rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve with a side of vegetables or rice.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add shredded cheese to the sauce mixture before baking.
- For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream and mayonnaise.
