Description

A warm and comforting peach cobbler with juicy caramelized peaches and a soft golden crust, perfect for any cozy dessert moment.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and place butter in a baking dish to melt.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Remove the baking dish once butter is melted and spread evenly.
  4. Pour the batter over the melted butter without stirring.
  5. Add sliced peaches evenly over the batter, then sprinkle brown sugar on top.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes until the top is golden and the filling is bubbling.
  7. Let it rest slightly before serving warm.

Notes

  • Use ripe peaches for the best flavor.
  • Do not stir after layering to achieve the classic cobbler texture.
  • Let it cool slightly so the syrup thickens properly.
