Description

Gooey, bakery-style cookies stuffed with whole Oreos and loaded with chocolate chips. These Oreo NYC Stuffed Cookies are soft, chewy, and bursting with nostalgic flavor in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 16 Oreo cookies


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Scoop and flatten a portion of dough. Place an Oreo in the center and top with another scoop. Seal to cover Oreo.
  5. Place on baking tray and bake for 12–14 minutes until edges are golden and centers soft.
  6. Cool on the tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Serve warm or store in an airtight container for later.
