- 1 cup frozen peas

- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (for dumplings)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- Fresh parsley or chives for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe pan over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, carrots, celery, and mushrooms. Cook until softened.
- Stir in 1 tablespoon flour, then add vegetable broth. Add peas, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and melted butter until just combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of dumpling dough onto the simmering sauce.
- Cover with lid or foil and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 10 minutes until golden.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot.
