Description
Fresh strawberries are coated in marshmallow creme, dipped in smooth semi-sweet chocolate, and finished with graham cracker crumbs for an easy no-bake treat with a fun s’mores-inspired twist.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound fresh strawberries, about 18 to 20 large strawberries, washed and dried completely
- 1 cup marshmallow creme
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
Instructions
- Line a tray or large plate with parchment paper and make space in the refrigerator for chilling.
- Place the marshmallow creme in a small bowl.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth.
- Place the graham cracker crumbs in a separate small bowl.
- Make sure the strawberries are fully dry. Insert toothpicks or skewers into the tops if desired for easier dipping.
- Dip each strawberry into the marshmallow creme, coating about three-quarters of the berry.
- Dip the marshmallow-coated strawberry directly into the melted chocolate, letting any excess drip off.
- Roll or sprinkle the lower part of each strawberry with graham cracker crumbs.
- Place the coated strawberries on the prepared tray.
- Refrigerate for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the chocolate is set, then serve chilled.
Notes
- Dry the strawberries very well before dipping so the coating sticks properly.
- Use firm, large berries for the neatest presentation.
- These are best served the same day for the freshest texture.
- Milk chocolate or dark chocolate can be used in place of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
