- 500 grams Chicken Tenders
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 1½ cups All-Purpose Flour
- ¼ cup Cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
- Oil for frying
- 4 large Flour Tortillas
- ¼ cup Mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Tomato Ketchup
- 1 cup Lettuce, shredded
- 1 large Tomato, diced
Instructions
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan to 175°C (350°F).
- Marinate chicken in buttermilk for 20 minutes.
- Mix flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Remove chicken from buttermilk, dredge in flour mix, dip back in buttermilk, and dredge again.
- Fry chicken pieces until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes per batch.
- Warm tortillas on a skillet or microwave.
- Mix mayonnaise and ketchup to make the sauce.
- Lay lettuce and tomatoes on the tortilla, add crispy chicken, and drizzle sauce over.
- Roll the wrap snugly and serve hot.
