Description

KFC Chocolate Parfaits are indulgent, layered desserts featuring creamy chocolate pudding, whipped cream, and crunchy chocolate cake bits, topped with a cherry for a decadent treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (or 2 cups homemade chocolate cake, crumbled)
  • 2 cups chocolate pudding (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • Maraschino cherries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions and bake. Once cooled, crumble the cake into small pieces.
  2. In serving glasses or jars, layer chocolate cake crumbles, chocolate pudding, and whipped cream, repeating the layers until the containers are filled.
  3. Top each parfait with a few chocolate chips and a maraschino cherry for garnish, if desired.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to let the flavors meld together.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can drizzle some chocolate syrup between layers.
  • If you don’t have chocolate cake mix, you can use brownies or any other chocolate cake recipe.
  • These parfaits can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
