Description

These Hot Honey Chicken Sliders bring together crispy fried chicken, tangy pickles, creamy mayo, and a drizzle of sweet-spicy hot honey, all tucked into soft slider buns for the ultimate bite-sized comfort food.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound boneless chicken thighs
  • ½ cup sliced pickles
  • 8 slider buns
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage


Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F.
  2. In one bowl, mix flour with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, soak chicken in buttermilk.
  3. Set a wire rack over a paper towel-lined tray for draining chicken.
  4. Dredge chicken in seasoned flour, pressing to coat. Let rest 10 minutes.
  5. Fry chicken in batches 5–7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Drain on rack.
  6. Combine honey and hot sauce in a pan and warm gently. Drizzle over hot chicken.
  7. Toast buns, spread with mayo, then layer with chicken, pickles, and cabbage. Close and serve warm.
