- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pound boneless chicken thighs
- ½ cup sliced pickles
- 8 slider buns
- ⅓ cup honey
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
Instructions
- Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F.
- In one bowl, mix flour with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, soak chicken in buttermilk.
- Set a wire rack over a paper towel-lined tray for draining chicken.
- Dredge chicken in seasoned flour, pressing to coat. Let rest 10 minutes.
- Fry chicken in batches 5–7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Drain on rack.
- Combine honey and hot sauce in a pan and warm gently. Drizzle over hot chicken.
- Toast buns, spread with mayo, then layer with chicken, pickles, and cabbage. Close and serve warm.
