- 500g chicken tenders
- 1½ cups panko breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ⅓ cup honey
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce
- 4 large russet potatoes
- 4 tablespoons butter
- ½ cup whole milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil, for frying
Instructions
- Heat a pot of water for the potatoes and a skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Place flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs in separate bowls. Dredge chicken in flour, then eggs, then breadcrumbs.
- Fry chicken in hot oil for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- Peel and boil potatoes until tender. Drain and mash with butter, warm milk, cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Whisk together honey and hot sauce in a small bowl.
- Drizzle hot honey over cooked chicken.
- Serve chicken over a scoop of cheesy mash. Garnish as desired and enjoy warm.
