Description

Crispy hot honey-glazed chicken served over creamy cheddar mashed potatoes — a spicy, sweet, and comforting dish that’s perfect for any night of the week.


Ingredients

  • 500g chicken tenders
  • 1½ cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil, for frying


Instructions

  1. Heat a pot of water for the potatoes and a skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Place flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs in separate bowls. Dredge chicken in flour, then eggs, then breadcrumbs.
  3. Fry chicken in hot oil for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  4. Peel and boil potatoes until tender. Drain and mash with butter, warm milk, cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Whisk together honey and hot sauce in a small bowl.
  6. Drizzle hot honey over cooked chicken.
  7. Serve chicken over a scoop of cheesy mash. Garnish as desired and enjoy warm.
