- 12 ounces Cheddar Cheese Block
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 2 large Eggs, beaten
- 2 cups Breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- Vegetable Oil for frying
Instructions
- Cut the cheddar into bite-sized cubes.
- Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with salt, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Dredge each cheese cube in flour, dip in egg, coat in breadcrumbs, repeat egg and breadcrumb steps for a double layer, and place on a baking sheet.
- Freeze the coated cheese bites for 20 minutes.
- Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pot to 350°F.
- Fry the bites in small batches for 1 to 2 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
