- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 medium cucumber, grated
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 4 burger buns
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Preheat a nonstick pan or grill over medium heat and lightly coat with olive oil.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper until just mixed.
- Ensure the cooking surface is properly heated to prevent sticking.
- Shape the mixture into 4 evenly sized patties.
- Cook patties for 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked through.
- In a separate bowl, mix plain yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, and chopped dill to make the tzatziki sauce.
