Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Old-Fashioned Oats
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Honey or Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter (softened)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Nuts (almonds or walnuts)
  • 1/2 cup Dried Cranberries or Raisins
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar. Add egg, honey, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
  3. Stir in oats, flour, baking soda, and salt. Fold in nuts and dried fruit.
  4. Scoop dough onto baking sheet and flatten gently with spoon.
  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden.
  6. Cool on tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.

Notes

  • Chill dough slightly if too soft.
