- 1 box peanut butter brownie mix (any brand)
- 2–4 tablespoons peanut butter (pouch included in box or from a jar)
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 8×8 inch square baking tin
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Set your oven according to the brownie mix package directions, usually 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the batter: In a medium mixing bowl, combine brownie mix, egg, water, and vegetable oil. Stir until smooth and well combined.
- Pour into pan: Grease or line an 8×8 inch baking tin, then pour in the brownie batter.
- Add peanut butter: Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter over the top of the batter. Use a knife or skewer to swirl it through for a marbled effect.
- Bake: Bake according to package directions, usually 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool and serve: Allow to cool in the pan before slicing into squares. Enjoy gooey and warm or completely cooled!
Notes
- Add chocolate chips or chopped peanuts for extra texture and flavor.
- For extra gooey brownies, slightly underbake and let them finish setting as they cool.
