  2. Prepare the Dough: If you’re using store-bought pastry dough, roll it out on a floured surface. If making homemade dough, prepare your favorite recipe and roll it out to about 1/8 inch thickness. Cut out circles or squares, depending on your preference for the pockets.
  3. Assemble the Pockets: Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each dough piece. Fold over to create a pocket and press the edges together, sealing them well. You can use a fork to crimp the edges for an added decorative touch.
